Starr Model 1858 44 cal Army Revolver

-double action, 44 cal army revolver
-44 cal. percussion, 6 round capacity
-serial# 7195 built circa September of 1862
-6" blued finished round barrel with dovetailed front blade sight
-bore has minimal oxidation with strong rifling
-6 round cylinder S/N 7195
-all serial numbers match (#7195)
-frame, cylinder and barrel all show an even patina
-weight 2lbs, 12oz.
-walnut grips are in good shape with some dents and scratches.
  Cartouche stamp on bottom of left & right grip contain the Army Inspector's
   initials but are unreadable.
-frame is marked "Starrs Patent Jan. 15. 1856" (right side)
   and "Starr Arms Co. New York" (left side)
-revolver in very good condition with some wear due to age and use.
-has outstanding double action operation,cylinder lock-up with crisp trigger operation.
